Dear all,

we are proud to annouce that Specchio dei tempi has concluded the distribution of the free grocery  bags to the elderly over 80 and those in extreme need. Together with the logistic help of the associations Crescere 1979 and Terza Settimana, we managed to reach 5460 people with 93 tons of goods that include fresh products and household products such as: 12 tons of pasta, 15 tons of fruits and vegetables. Each grocery bag weighed around 17 kg.

These bags have all been left outside of people’s doors in order to respect all the safety rules that are in order, and avoid the risk of infection. These activities have been also been possible thanks to the collaboration of brands such as Pam, Coop, Conad, Borello and Defendini.

The numerous messages of gratitude and admiration received for the work done so far is simply overwhelming.

Specchio dei tempi, though, won’t stop here. We just started the project “Families in need”. We’ve identified 1000 of the families that have already been approved by Specchio Point, to whom we will be delivering grocery bags that will include also products for their children. To this an economical support will follow too. We aim to deliver up to 20 tons of food.

But we wont stop here.

We’ve also brought our projects to help the schooling one step further. Tablets have been delivered to the Emilio Salgari School and the Sandro Pertini. Anna Frank institution and Bobbio are the next ones on our list. These tablets are part of a greater project, done in collaboration with Acmos, help the kids to stay in school. In the next few weeks we’ll deliver more tablets to the schools that have requested them. We aim to deliver up to 750 devices. These will all have their own sim card, so that the connection is guaranteed to all the children.

Our commitment in favor the healthcare is still running. We have reached  in total 123 entities to which we have delivered PPE materials and with 18 hospitals.

You can stay uptodate by reading all the news on our website and social media pages.

Thanks again for your support, this has all been possibile thanks to your help!

We'll keep in touch!

Retirement homes
Retirement homes

For the last 22 days we raced non-stop to order, buy and deliver equiptment to the hospitals and others institutions that have all hands on deck.

Up to now we have reached almost 8 millions through the help of over 10.000 donors. And incredible mile stone that pushes us to do more every day.

In the last 24 hours we have reached twenty structures that include Turin’s hospitals, the ASL, retirement homes, charitable associations and the Piedmont Region Crisis Unit. Yesterday we’ve donated 19.300 FFP2 masks, 2.300 surgical masks, 28.000 gloves, 3.000 coats, 300 visors, 660 goggles, 230 gel bottle, 250 sleeve covers, dozens of oximeters, thermometers and stethoscopes.

This adds up to a total of almost 400.000 pieces of DPI materials delivered since the beginning of the subscription, 22 day ago.

On top of all the DPI materials, great part of the hospitals in the Piedmont region have been donated dozens of vanguard machineries to help cure the patients with Covid-19. These include two CT scans (one for the Amedeo di Savoia and a second one for the Martini Hospital), twenty pulmonary ultrasound machines, critical care ultrasounds, parametric monitors, beds and furnitures for the new reanimation units.

The foundation could not forget about the social sphere. Shopping bags have been delivered to almost 4.500 elderly citizens. We are also supporting the single moms in difficulty, delivering pet food, helping 160 schools with sanitizing kits and supporting an e-learning program (together with the Agnelli Foundation and Reale Mutua). In the next few days we will be donating hundreds of tablets to the needy students. We are also studying support programs for families and small businesses.

Once again, THANK YOU for having chosen to fight with us! Your contributions do make a difference.

You can follow all the updates on our website and social media pages.

Stay Ssafe people, we'll keep you posted!

Best,

Francesca

A concrete help to small enterprises of Arquata del Tronto, Accumoli and Amatrice, the municipalities of Central Italy that had to count dead in the earthquake of three years ago, was deliverded last september in front of all the local authorities.

The La Stampa-Specchio dei tempi Foundation, thanks to the economic contribution of Reale Mutua and Reale Immobili, was able to select eleven small local companies, in the sectors of agriculture, commerce and craftmanships.

The ceremony took place in the school complex of Arquata del Tronto, rebuilt by the Foundation after the earthquake. Among the "winners" there are farmers, beekeepers, geese and pig farmers, butchers, artisans, tourism operators. Small activities that represent the soul of a territory that tries to recover from the disaster of the earthquake.

There are over 100,000 euros available for these small businesses. These funds represent the solidarity of some building companies that have carried out interventions for Reale Immobili which, in turn, has then doubled the sum collected.

Specchio dei tempi continues to support Arquata del Tronto and it's still possible to continue funding our project: there is still a lot of work to do!

The selection among the contestants of the Reale Immobili -  Specchio dei tempi foundation call for tenders to support small businesses in the earthquake-stricken areas of Central Italy ended on June 27th. The requests for funding were 89, all from Arquata del Tronto, Amatrice and Accumoli, that is from the municipalities that had to count deaths in the earthquake of almost 3 years ago. The requests have touched the most varied sectors: from traditional interventions on agriculture or on the reconstruction of activities related to tourism, to particular requests such as those for alpaca farms, for bee hives, for the cultivation of truffles.

We could not reward all the deserving, but we tried to support the 11 winning projects with adequate resources so that they can be quickly implemented. From the data we have gathered, it is clear that the desire to share these territories has been rewarded by Reale Immobili and Specchio dei tempi awarding an overall injection of resources of over 100,000 euros.

Specchio dei tempi continues to support Arquata del Tronto and it's still possible to continue funding our project: there is still a lot of work to do!

Specchio dei tempi continues his effort in order to help and provide safety to the population hardly affected by the 2016 earthquake.

The gym in Arquata del Tronto inaugurated on 19th Spetember 2018 in addition to being used by the students of the school (also built by Specchio dei tempi), has become a center of aggregation for the local associations that use the gym area to promote their activities.

This year Specchio dei tempi in order to continue his support to the earthquake-stricken territory has decided, together with the Reale Group, to provide subsidies to promote the abilities of deserving subjects, support the start-up of professional activities, realize a free and profitable entrepreneurial activity.

The subsidies will consist of donations for the start-up, relaunch and development of expertises, arts or professions and for the launch of business and commercial initiatives in the municipalities of Accumoli, Amatrice and Arquata del Tronto or by the residents of these.

Specchio dei tempi continues to support Arquata del Tronto and it's still possible to continue funding our project: there is still a lot of work to do!
