Our project brings together Palestinian and Jewish women, including mothers, young professionals, students, and community organizers, in long-term spaces combining critical political education with artistic creation. Through dialogue and artwork, women deepen their understanding of the political reality shaping their lives, reclaim their creative voices, and recognize their power to act. They claim their place in their communities and turn shared experiences into grassroots collective action.
Palestinian and Jewish women face political violence, structural inequality, and entrenched social division, though these realities affect them differently. Women carry the burden of sustaining families and communities while their voices are excluded from decision-making. Isolation and limited spaces for political dialogue and creative expression make it harder to understand shared struggles, build solidarity, and act collectively. Their communities lose vital opportunities for women-led change.
We bring Palestinian and Jewish women into ongoing groups combining political education, art, and collective action. Women explore the political realities shaping their lives, reclaim their creative voices, and claim their place in their communities. Our work with Bedouin women in the Naqab has already supported women drive change in their communities. Building on this experience, we support women to build solidarity, lead grassroots initiatives, and open creative spaces for the next generation.
The project aims to strengthen Palestinian and Jewish women's lasting participation in community life. Participants can sustain independent art collectives, lead local initiatives, and create spaces where girls develop creative voices and see women as leaders. Relationships built through the groups can support continued solidarity and collective action across divides. Over time, these networks can help women shape community priorities and build a more just, shared future for the next generation.
