GlobalGiving Campaign Report – First Aid of the Soul (FAS)
Dear Friends and Supporters,
During this Season of Giving campaign, First Aid of the Soul raised $7,519 from 15 donors, reaching over 75% of our $10,000 goal. We are deeply grateful for this support, which directly sustains our Ukrainian-led mental health programming during an ongoing humanitarian crisis.
Since the campaign, FAS has continued to expand and deliver core programming focused on both access to care and strengthening the mental health workforce in Ukraine. Key activities include:
Three weekly clinical supervision groups currently facilitated for Ukrainian psychologists and mental health professionals, providing ongoing support, case consultation, and burnout prevention.
Launch of a new adult support group, “Here and Now,” focused on practical self-care tools and emotional regulation in the context of prolonged stress and uncertainty.
Delivery of five clinical trainings and workshops on trauma-informed care and evidence-based interventions since the campaign period.
Hosting of two international roundtable discussions, bringing together Ukrainian and global experts to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaboration.
Looking ahead, FAS is continuing to scale its programming through upcoming initiatives, including:
A multi-session Suicide Prevention training series (April–May) aimed at equipping practitioners with critical intervention skills.
At the end of March, we will host a two-day training on Written Exposure Therapy (WET) for PTSD, supporting the dissemination of structured, evidence-based trauma treatment approaches.
In parallel, FAS leadership is actively working to expand institutional partnerships. Our Founder and Executive Director is currently in Ukraine, engaging with hospitals, universities, and local partners to strengthen referral pathways, embed programming within healthcare systems, and extend our reach to underserved communities.
Through these combined efforts—direct support, workforce development, and systems-level partnerships—FAS continues to contribute to the long-term strengthening of Ukraine’s mental health infrastructure. This work remains essential as millions of Ukrainians face ongoing exposure to trauma, stress, and displacement.
While we did not fully reach our campaign goal, the funds raised have already enabled critical continuity of care and program expansion. Continued support will allow us to deepen this impact and reach more individuals and communities in need across Ukraine.
We thank our donors and partners for standing with Ukraine and supporting mental health as a vital component of recovery, resilience, and collective healing.
Thank you so much for being part of this journey with us!
