Dear Friend,
We want to be honest with you. There are no new updates to share for our Rebuilding Syrian Bakeries campaign right now. The reason is simple: donations have not come in at the level needed to continue the work.
The need hasn't gone away. Bakeries in northern Syria still need repairs. Families still can't afford to buy bread. Children are still going hungry because the local bakeries that once served their communities are barely functioning. We had a plan to change that—to provide flour, fix equipment, and keep ovens running so that bread stays affordable for those who need it most. But without funding, we can't move forward.
Your past support made a difference, and we are deeply grateful. We haven't given up, and we hope you haven't either. With renewed contributions, we can restart this campaign and get bread back to the tables where it's desperately needed.
Please consider giving today. Every donation brings us closer to reopening a bakery and feeding a child.
With hope and gratitude,
The Smile Givers International Team
