When you support Happy Hearts Indonesia, your impact goes far beyond concrete and mortar. Thanks to a changemaker like you, the children of Sipange Village, North Sumatra, finally have a safe place to learn, laugh, and dream again.

The Before: A School on the Edge
Since 2012, the village’s only early childhood center has been a beacon of hope, operating by utilizing available village facilities. Over the years, classes moved from the village head's house to the local village hall. But in November 2025, disaster struck when a devastating landslide severely damaged the hall.
The aftermath was heartbreaking. Even after the community cleared the debris, the building was left completely unusable—with a destroyed roof, ruined furniture, moldy walls, and the constant threat of future landslides. These resilient little learners were suddenly left without a safe place to continue their education.
The After: A Vibrant, Safe Haven
You saw their need, and you stepped in! Thanks to your incredible generosity, this vital school has been completely rebuilt from the ground up on safe, secure land.

Look at what your kindness built:
Powered by the Community
This miracle was a true team effort. Inspired by your support, the local community poured their hearts into the project. The village proudly donated the land, cleared the site, and even provided housing and meals for the construction workers. It’s a beautiful, sustainable partnership built to last for generations.
The Lasting Impact
Your gift does more than just repair a roof—it rescues a community's future. It gives these children a safe launchpad for life, teaches the community the value of child-friendly spaces, and unites local heroes to keep this school thriving.
Thank you for believing in these children and investing in their safety!
Help Us Spread the Joy!
If this transformation put a smile on your face, please share it with your friends and family. By spreading the word, you help us connect with more amazing changemakers like you to bring dignity and safety to even more schools across Indonesia.
Warmly,
Mel
and the Happy Hearts Indonesia team
