Project Summary

The campaign “Rebuild Hope: Restore Martyr Adel Al-Khaled School” aims to rehabilitate the Martyr Adel Al-Khaled School, providing a safe and welcoming environment for students to learn and grow. The restoration will enable the school to accommodate more students and enhance the quality of education in the region.

Current Status

As of today, no financial contributions have been received through the GlobalGiving platform for this campaign.

Despite this, the Salam Humanitarian Foundation remains deeply committed to the project and continues to work tirelessly to restore the school and improve educational opportunities for children in the area.

Actions Taken

While awaiting financial support, the following actions have been undertaken:

  • Needs Assessment: Conducted a thorough evaluation of the school's infrastructure to identify areas requiring urgent repairs and upgrades.

  • Community Engagement: Engaged with local stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and community leaders, to gather support and input for the restoration project.

  • Preliminary Planning: Developed a detailed restoration plan, including timelines, budget estimates, and resource requirements, to ensure efficient implementation once funding becomes available.

Challenges

  • Lack of Funding: The restoration project is currently on hold due to the absence of external funding via the platform.

  • Deteriorating Infrastructure: The school's condition continues to decline, posing safety risks and hindering the learning environment for students.

Next Steps

  • Intensify fundraising efforts through digital campaigns and community outreach to attract potential donors.

  • Explore partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders to secure alternative funding sources.

  • Prepare for immediate commencement of restoration activities upon receipt of sufficient funds.
