Warm Heart's children come from mountain villages where roads become impassable during the rainy season. Our 23 year old truck is unreliable, leaving children and families cut off from care and support. This project will fund a dependable 4x4 truck so we can reach every child safely-rain or shine, uphill or down. The lead photo is of volunteer medical students going to the mountains to teach emergency first aid to village leaders.
Warm Heart's children come from small mountain villages reached only by steep, rough roads that turn to deep mud during the rainy season. Our current truck is old and unreliable-it breaks down often and cannot safely travel when the roads wash out. Without a dependable vehicle, our team struggles to deliver food and supplies, bring children to medical care, or visit families who depend on us. When the truck fails, children and caregivers are cut off from vital support.
This project will fund the purchase of a newer, reliable 4-wheel-drive truck to ensure we can reach the children and families in the mountains year-round. The vehicle will allow us to deliver food, transport children safely to appointments, respond to emergencies, and bring supplies to schools and dormitories. With $12,500 already donated, this campaign will help raise the matching $12,500 needed to complete the purchase and keep Warm Heart moving-rain or shine, uphill or down.
A dependable 4x4 truck means no child will ever be unreachable again. It will ensure continuity of care, safety, and connection between our campus and the remote villages our children call home. This investment keeps our programs strong, our children healthy, and our community united-making it possible for every child to grow up knowing that help and hope can always reach them, no matter how difficult the road.
