Millions of people in the developing world are just to poor to be able to access the eye care they need to resolve their sight problems
An eye hospital will be established in Ranchi which will be promoted in the community as providing free eye care to those at the bottom of the social ladder. It is estimated that around 75000 people will be provided with eye examinations, 10,000 will receive free minor eye procedures and 7000 will receive a cataract operation
Children can return to school and learn a profession thereby ensuring a promising future. Adults will be able to return to work enabling them to provide food and shelter for their families
