During the holy month of Ramadan, Aseel continued its humanitarian efforts by delivering food assistance to vulnerable families across Afghanistan. With the difficult economic situation affecting many communities, Aseel focused on helping those who were struggling to provide daily meals for their families during Ramadan. Through different Ramadan campaigns and emergency response activities, more than 20,000 packages (including both iftar meals and food packages) were distributed in all 34 provinces of the Afghanistan.
As part of these efforts, over 18,000 iftar meals were prepared and distributed to fasting individuals and families. Each meal included cooked rice, fresh bread, dates, Fruits, clean drinking water. The distributions were carried out daily and reached thousands of people in need throughout the month.
The support mainly reached widowed women, orphan children, elderly people who were the only providers for their families, street-working women and children, and other low-income families facing serious financial challenges.
Assistance was also provided to people living in orphanages, migrant camps, and hospitals. In addition to food distributions, emergency relief support, hygiene assistance, and seasonal aid were delivered through various packages such as Ramadan Iftar Packages, Ramadan Large Food Packages, Medium and Small Food Packages, Emergency Food Packages, Hygiene Kits, and Eid Gift Packages for Children.
Through these activities, Aseel once again showed its commitment to helping vulnerable communities and standing beside families in need during the blessed month of Ramadan. The initiative not only helped reduce food insecurity for thousands of people but also brought a sense of hope, dignity, and community support to many families across Afghanistan. With your partnership, Aseel can continue standing beside communities in their hardest moments.
