As Ramadan approaches, PYI Yatim & Zakat launches a Fidyah Distribution Program to help Muslims fulfill their fidyah obligations for missed fasting due to valid reasons. With a fidyah amount of IDR 35,000 per day per person, donations are distributed in a sharia-compliant manner to eligible beneficiaries. The program provides ready-to-eat meals for orphans and food packages for underprivileged families, turning worship into real humanitarian impact before Ramadan begins. Together we bring hope.!
Many Muslims are unable to fast during Ramadan due to valid health conditions or Islamic reasons, yet many remain confused about how to properly fulfill their fidyah obligation. Limited information about the correct amount, rightful beneficiaries, and trusted distribution channels often causes fidyah to be delayed or neglected. As a result, an important act of worship is left unfulfilled, while orphans and underprivileged families continue to struggle with food insecurity unmet needs..
This project provides a clear, trusted, and accessible solution for fulfilling fidyah obligations before Ramadan. Through PYI Yatim & Zakat, Muslims are given accurate guidance on the correct fidyah amount and a reliable channel to distribute it. Fidyah funds are directly transformed into ready-to-eat meals and basic food packages for orphans and underprivileged families, ensuring the obligation is fulfilled properly while addressing urgent food insecurity in a timely and impactful way.
This project helps build sustained awareness and compliance with fidyah obligations, ensuring more Muslims fulfill their religious duties correctly and on time. Over the long term, consistent fidyah contributions will strengthen food security for orphans and underprivileged families, reduce hunger during and beyond Ramadan, and support a more reliable charitable ecosystem. It also fosters a culture of responsible giving, trust, and ongoing social care within the community.
