BRDP seeks to provide food to 1,000 poor families in Balochistan during Ramadan. Rising food prices make it hard for low-income households to afford essentials. Our initiative will distribute food packages, ensuring vulnerable individuals can observe Ramadan with dignity. Through community engagement and transparent distribution, we aim to alleviate hunger and promote solidarity.
Balochistan, the largest province of Pakistan, has one of the highest poverty rates in country. Many families, especially in rural areas, struggle to access basic food supplies due to economic hardships, inflation & limited employment opportunities. During Ramadan, the situation worsens as food prices rise, making it even more difficult for poor families to afford necessities. Hunger & malnutrition are widespread, leading to severe health consequences, especially for children and the elders.
This project will distribute essential food supplies to 1,000 underprivileged families, reducing hunger and malnutrition during Ramadan. By sourcing food in bulk and engaging local volunteers, we ensure cost-effective, timely delivery. Direct distribution to the neediest ensures transparency and impact. This effort will alleviate food insecurity, improve health, and provide dignity to families, fostering community support and resilience during the holy month.
This project will strengthen food security and create awareness about the needs of vulnerable communities. It will encourage sustained community support and philanthropy, fostering a culture of giving. By improving nutrition, it will contribute to better health and productivity. Additionally, it can inspire long-term interventions for poverty alleviation, ensuring ongoing assistance beyond Ramadan through community-driven initiatives and partnerships.
