As of June 2026, the boarding houses are still under construction, and the mattresses and beds have not yet been installed. However, the rooms are now ready. Once the final stage of construction is completed, we will begin furnishing the dormitories with beds and specially designed mattresses.
We are incredibly excited to open the doors of these boarding houses to some of the region's poorest and most vulnerable children. A safe, comfortable place to sleep is essential to a child's wellbeing, learning, and ability to thrive at school.
While significant progress has been made, we still need your support to reach our remaining fundraising goal of $66,000. These funds will enable us to purchase over 500 clean, comfortable, and durable mattresses, giving underserved children at Al Haouz not only a safe place to sleep, but also a greater opportunity to access secondary education and build a brighter future!
