Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your interest in the Raising Boys to Respect Women as Equals project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned school and community training activities have not yet begun.
Many women across Nigeria continue to face discrimination, widow maltreatment, denial of property rights, and harmful cultural practices. In many communities, boys grow up witnessing these behaviors and may carry the same harmful beliefs into adulthood if no positive education or guidance is provided.
Without early intervention, cycles of discrimination and unfair treatment toward women continue across generations.
This project is designed to provide school workshops, community dialogues, mentorship activities, and awareness sessions that teach boys respect, fairness, empathy, and equal treatment of women. Teachers, parents, and community leaders will also be engaged to help reinforce positive values within homes and schools.
With the right support, more boys can grow into men who value women equally, reject harmful practices, and help create safer and fairer communities for future generations.
We remain hopeful that support will come so this important gender awareness and youth education project can begin and reach vulnerable communities across Nigeria.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
