At Ashwini Charitable Trust (ACT), we are committed to fostering holistic development by offering educational opportunities alongside enriching experiences that promote social and emotional growth. To align with this vision, ACT organized a three-day educational and recreational excursion from December 27th to 29th, 2024, offering students a well-balanced experience beyond the classroom.

Seventy students, ranging from 9th grade to Degree classes, participated in this well-planned outing to a nearby resort. The trip provided a much-needed break from their academic pursuits, enabling them to engage in a variety of structured and unstructured recreational activities. Students actively participated in both indoor and outdoor games, including tug-of-war, cricket, volleyball, chess, and badminton. These activities were not just sources of entertainment but also instrumental in developing teamwork, problem-solving skills, resilience, and sportsmanship.

Strengthening Bonds and Enhancing Social Skills

Beyond the games, this excursion allowed students to interact in an informal setting, strengthening peer relationships and mentor-student connections. Shared meals and engaging conversations contributed to the development of essential social skills, confidence, and emotional well-being.

Educational and Emotional Impact

While recreation was a key focus, the trip also contributed to the students' overall well-being. Many of these children come from challenging backgrounds, and this experience provided them with a safe and nurturing space where they could express themselves freely.
