The children at Ashwini Charitable Trust(ACT) are mostly first-generation learners, from impoverished households. While school provides them education, often they miss out on experiential learning. To fill this gap, the Radhika ACT Fund has tied up with the Agastya International Foundation, a non-profit organization to teach science to our students, in an informative play and learn method.
The session that was held in mid-September was informative and challenging. The ACT students loved the hands-on approach to the Physics and Chemistry experiments and were curious to learn more. Around 40 students from classes 5th to 7th attended this event. These ongoing science learning sessions are extremely popular with the ACT children. The representatives from the Agastya International Foundation conducted the session with a lot of involvement and helped the children throughout.
Such events are invaluable to these children and spark within them a lifelong love of science and a thirst of knowledge. These experiments always offer a tangible and immersive learning to our children.
Team ACT is thankful to all our generous donors for their support. Your contributions have made a significant impact on our mission and have played a vital role in helping us achieve our goals. We are immensely grateful for your dedication and commitment to our cause.
