LSF is proud to launch the Our Canada Project video which provides examples of how students can make Canada a better place, and then share it on the Our Canada Project website so that others can see their great work.
The project is in the process of hiring Ambassadors which will do outreach for the project. OCP Ambassadors will have the opportunity to meet with a variety of different youth groups, sporting teams, clubs and schools in theirlocal area. The role of the OCP Ambassador is to contact local youth groups to arrange and deliver presentations to them on the Our Canada Project. OCP Ambassadors will deliver pre-made presentations to these groups, to educate them about OCP, and to encourage them to post their own vision and action online. LSF is providing training to each OCP Ambassador, along with resources for teachers, community groups and a prepared presentation.
LSF is excited to see this project move forward, and look forward to reading all the great initiatives that have been done this school year, as schools begin to report on their school action projects!
