Dear Friends,
It is my pleasure to share our fourth report via Global Giving on the progress of our project to provide quality education to children in Kishanganj district of Bihar.
Azad India Foundation is running learning centers in the selected villages of the district of Kishanganj, with 7 teachers and 250 children enrolled under Primary Education program. In our centers the children attend classes regularly. Many activities are done to retain the interest of the children. They are grouped as per their learning levels and some of them attend remedial classes.
The methodology of teaching and learning is different from normal regular schools keeping in mind the need of the children of this area.
Unfortunately, we are not getting any donations for the last couple of months making it difficult for us to run the centers. It is the commitment of the teachers and community members that is helping us to continue this program. We are forced to shut down three centers due to lack of funds.
Do contribute to help us keep these disadvantaged children into the education program. We would be grateful if you can spread the word. We really need support to continue this program.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or ideas at aif_org@yahoo.co.in
Warm Regards,
