The value of Non-Formal Education is taking a demanding turn in today’s world. Through Non-Formal Education, Indian Women And Child Welfare Trust meets the over-growing demand for education; gives education to out of school children, adults, youths etc.; impart life skill education and lifelong education; it helps to perfect human resources; minimize the wastage and stagnation in education by direct means and enhance values skill competency in the vacation and productivity.
At various slums of Delhi, Non-formal Education is the only option for the children around that area because of the poor educational system and undeveloped schools that have been there in that region. Through Non-Formal Education, the children not only get proper education but also partake in other extra curriculum activities and are provided free food. The school continued till March 2020 and was closed due to the pandemic. During that time the children were provided with masks and sanitisers. The Non-Formal Education had turned out to be a boon for the children and their families in such undeveloped areas and many could envision a bright future through our Non-formal Education System.
