Progress Report: Pure Spring Community Well Project
Elchariszone Development Foundation is excited to announce the identification phase of our Pure Spring Community Well Project in Nigeria.
Through recent field assessments in underserved rural communities, we have spotted critical water access challenges: families in targeted villages rely on distant, contaminated seasonal streams and shallow wells, leading to high rates of waterborne diseases like cholera and typhoid, especially among children and women who bear the burden of fetching water over long distances.
We have now pinpointed 5 high-priority communities with acute needs, conducted initial community consultations with local leaders, and completed preliminary hydrogeological surveys confirming viable groundwater sources. Partnerships with 4 village water committees are forming to ensure community ownership from the start.
This early detection positions us to deliver sustainable, clean water solutions that will transform health, education, and livelihoods. Your urgent support today funds the next phase: detailed site surveys, borehole design, and safe drilling. Every contribution brings pure, life-changing water closer to those who need it most.
Donate now — together, we quench thirst and build healthier futures for Nigeria's vulnerable communities.
