This weekend of November we have set up our yearly campaing to collect food from donors in the supermakets, but this year with special focus on the people impacted by the flood disaster in Valencia and other areas of Spain. Many supermarkets, mini-markets and other food shops have been distroyed by the flood and there is no way for the people living ton that areas to get food and in some areas drinking water but by the Food Banks supply and other similiar sources. Thousands of anonymous volunteers participated in this food collection, and despite we don´t have the final figures of food collected , we really expect that its has been a true success , specially with the goal set this year regarding the flood. But we can´t forget that the need of a proper nutrition still happens in other areas so we need to provide these other people as well.
We really appreciate your generous collaboration and encourage you to keep supporting us in the next months because the situation is not improving, on the contrary the number of people and families that need our help.increases every day.; even people that never thought before that they would need to ask for support, even more now with the flood disaster
