In our last fundraising initiative through globalgiving titled help 500 children realize their potential; we raised funds and were able to construct two classrooms for TAFCOMs nursery school, most of the children attending this school are orphans and vulnerable children. And many of them come from far and have to walk a long distance to the school. Therefore we need a school van to be able to transport the children from their home to school and back.
Apart from the two classrooms, TAFCOM also through the support from the friends, family and staffs of RE/MAX results was able to purchase 5 acres of land for building a primary school and the construction of the first two classrooms is on the progress. Therefore the children who graduate from TAFCOMs nursery school will get access to primary school. This primary school is 4km from our nursery school therefore having a school van to transport the children is a must.
This project will help the vulnerable children get access to quality education something they would have missed since many of their parents and guardian cannot afford to pay for their education. Also some of the children are orphans and they have no one to turn to. Therefore getting transport to and from the school and getting free education is the only way to help them realize their potential.
This project will bless more than 500 vulnerable children, will change their lives and help break the cycle of poverty. And after getting the education these children will go back to help their families and their communities.
