Celebrating 3 years of Superhumans, we're raising $30,000 to launch psychological support in Odesa. Having helped 3,000+ patients, we now focus on war survivors with PTSD and facial trauma. Our program offers individual therapy, psychiatry, and group sessions, including art and music therapy. We help those who lost their identity to reconnect with their reflection and society. Your donation funds the start of Superhumans Odesa to help more Ukrainians receive qualified psychological support.
War causes "invisible wounds." Hundred thousands of Ukrainians face severe PTSD, depression, and loss of identity. Without psychological support for Superhumans patients, even the best prosthetics fail, as patients struggle with phantom pain and social isolation. The trauma prevents them from reintegrating into their families and the workforce, leaving them physically healed but mentally broken.
We provide a multidisciplinary support system: 1) Crisis counseling from day one of hospitalization. 2) Peer-to-peer groups where veterans mentor each other. 3) Family therapy to rebuild domestic bonds. 4) Specialized PTSD treatments like EMDR. By combining mental health care with rehabilitation, we ensure that patients don't just "walk" again-they truly return to life.
This project creates a blueprint for war-trauma recovery. We aim to return 2,000+ yearly "Superhumans" to active social and economic life, breaking the stigma of disability. In the long run, we strengthen Ukraine's human capital by transforming survivors into resilient leaders and mentors, ensuring that the legacy of war is not a broken generation, but a community of empowered individuals.
