Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing care and help for indigent children. This reporting period we focus our attention to letting families where they have indigent children to grow food for themselves via simple gardening and farming techniques with resources that they can easily procure from around their houses and farms. In this way we help prevent the problem of malnutrition and lack of food for their families. Gardening is simple and easy to do in their spare time and the production is continuous. We train them to use native varieties so that they are able to re-use the seeds in the next planting cycle. We were able to engage 72 families in this manner during this reporting time. Hoping for your continuing support. Thank you very much.

Very sincerely yours,

Cesario Sayre

Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your continuing support to our initiative providing food to indigent children. We are very happy that this period in view of the holiday season is very good for us especially in providing support to many children. We were able to provide food and other home essentials to 220 children and their families and this is a good record. We were able also to support the food production of local families by the provision of seeds and planting materials that they can use in their farmlots. We found out that home food production is one of the best way to solve the problem of food scarcity because this is easily done and do not require much inputs. The farmers can just procure the inputs from their own backyard. Hoping for your continuing support to our initiative. Again thank you so much.

Very sincerely yours,

Providing small livelihoods

Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for supporting our project helping indigent children and their families. Poor families are experiencing hunger and malnutrition compared to 3-4 years ago this is because of the difficulty in generating income from the farm. This maybe the result of the changing climate with violent storms happening more frequently. The need to develop sustainable solutions to hunger is needed and one of the approaches that we are employing is in providing micro livelihoods to farmers. With little pump-priming capital and technical support, we aim to improve the living conditions of very poor farming families. This reporting period, and with the help also of local donors, we are able to help a total of 32 families. Hoping that you will continue to help us. Thank you very much.

Very sincerely yours,

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative helping indigent children and their families. Glad to report that the restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic has eased-up already and inhabitants can go about with their livelihood activities. We continue to look for opportunities for parents of indigent children to gain employment in their own homes and the growing of seedlings for gardeners is one of the best activity we have in our portfolio. There are so many gardeners and garden enthusiast since the start of the pandemic and plants sell well. We were able to assist 32 families with this type of livelihood option and we continue to look for other opportunities for the coming months. Hoping for your continuing support to our initiative. Thank you very much.

Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your donation to our project helping indigent children and their families. We are focusing on farmers and artisans in our work and during this reporting period, we continue our advocacy to promote high-valued crops such as cacao in improving the income and well-being of families. Cacao is where chocolates are made and because we are near the equator, we are able to produce cacao which is sought after in local and international markets. Demand is always high and this is much better for the farmers the problem is the lack of seeds for growing the young plant. Our promotion includes raising seedlings and training the farmers how to grow the plant. We are piloting this initiative in 5 villages and we are happy to report that we are successful. Hoping for your continuing support. Thank you very much.

Very sincerely yours,

Cesario
