The purpose of our Foundation is to recognize those, who promote peace through greater understanding among peoples, cultures, and nations, and develop higher education in the world.

Since the beginning of the war, our Foundation has supported the focus of activities on improving student life, for charity. The goal is to help civilians, refugees who suffered from the war, their children who are getting higher education at universities.
Free internship program, the purpose of which is to provide tutoring for students in including refugee children. The main goal of the project is the formation of a layer of active, conscious patriotic leaders who are brought up in the spirit of democracy and patriotism for the future increasing youth involvement in decision-making and problem-solving processes on national and local levels, recovery of Ukraine after the war.

Also to promote the unification of Ukrainian students and students of graduating classes, which are abroad. Young people were already involved in free internships, resides as refugees in European countries, in particular, in Poland.

The war in Ukraine remind us that our world may always be rocked by violence, and that we must each do what we can to build a lasting peace based on understanding. For our part, our Foundation works continuously to ensure that our projects remain an effective instrument of developing society, education. We are among those who develop higher education — of the positive impact of our Foundation and the principle of peace through understanding. We must stand together nationwide and reach out to as many members of leadership of country as possible.

Now we are focused on education. These allowed the Democratic Society community to showcase the incredible work they are doing throughout the country.

Now we reflectiing on the extreme challenges facing Ukraine and its supporters worldwide in countering Russian violence, lawlessness, and alleged war crimes. We should be given hope that Ukrainian resolve and resilience will remain steadfast until this war ends— and well beyond.

We also develop connections between groups across the country Ukraine.

Due to the ongoing full-scale war between Russia and Ukraine, many Ukrainian families have found themselves in a difficult financial situation and cannot provide for their children's education in higher educational institutions. Some donors agree to pay for the education of students in universities in accordance with the scholarship programs created by charitable foundations

During the Russian-Ukrainian war many cities of Ukraine and many industries are destroyed. There is a shortage of specialists with higher education in the rebirth from ruins, renewing of the country Ukraine.

Solution

The project will help partially to solve the problem of lack of finance resorses to provide Ukraine with the specialists with higher for rebuildiing of country after the war.

2023 was a year, both troubling and tragic: now our country is engulfed in the fire of war.
Cruise missiles, drones Shaheds, fired by the Russian military troops, have killed and mare now killing civilians, fall on the ukrainian peaceful homes destroying everything in many Ukrainian cities and towns, forcing refugees to seek safe places in other mregions and countries.

To help students - among them-children of the refugees our Foundation provides activity in the educational directions: the organization of free tutoring, free practice for students, free internships for students of higher educational institutions in the specialty "journalism", introduction of non-formal education in educational institutions, based on human rights principles, holding cultural and integration events.
It is the activities of education that provide tools for change, solving local problems.
We are also communicating with the leadership at the local and national levels.

There is a war going on now. Media activity in Ukraine has never been so important. Our correspondents work tirelessly, journalists fight on the information front - with the help of news, texts, posts on social networks, streams on YouTube, etc.
The work of a journalist in wartime is difficult and responsible. Journalists must adhere to safety rules and ethical principles; they perform difficult and responsible work professionally and effectively.
The work of journalists during war is always fraught with difficulties and dangers; journalists have to work in unfavorable conditions, face danger and overcome it.
In their work in wartime, journalists must ensure the safety of their activities and have everything necessary to ensure their safety, including a first aid kit and communications equipment.
Ukrainian press must have journalists, who can take part in the struggle against aggressors and then in the rebuilding of our country Ukraine.

During the war, all state financial resources, as well as the funds of the population, are directed towards producing and purchasing of weapons to defend ourselves for surviving, for military personnel, participating in hostilities, creating a gigantic shortage of funds for refugees and all the civilians.
We are trying to help independent mass media and to prepare students to take part in journalistic work to have a support in work.
We help our media, partners of our CF "Democratic Society", one of which is a newspaper "Ukrainian Youth".

In difficult times we are trying to support to our media organizations that conduct training and tutoring of students, most of all - children of refugees.
Our newspaper "Ukrainian Youth" is accredited in Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine, read by officials of Ukraine, people's deputies, youth, ordinary people.

We support our mass media, which is now in a bad situation during military operations.

We try to help to provide the resources to work for our intern journalists, for the
implementation of freedom of transport movement of our intern journalists, for conducting interviews, attending press-conferences, covering important events, posting articles, purchasing gadgets and journalists equipment by our editorial office.
To help children of refugees to continue getting higher education, to help media in our country, to develop journalism among children of the refugees, our charity organisation provides activity in the carrying out free tutoring, free practice for students, free internships for students of higher educational institutions in the specialty "journalism", introduction of non-formal education in educational institutions, based on human rights principles, holding cultural and integration events.
We are working on problem how to help students - among them-children of refugees from the war, how
to give an aid to the main base for free internship in the journalistic speciality of such students - to our newspaper "Ukrainian Youth".
Internship is included in the process of studying students at universities, and the organization of this internship, tuition, also requires funds.
By helping the Ukrainians, we are also helping the American people in order to preserve democratic values and prevent the world from sliding into the chaos of a world war.
Now in our work we hope for help of donors.

Our Foundation on the basis of the newspaper "Ukrainian Youth" conducts free official practice of students in the specialty "Journalism".

Now our Foundation is engaged in work of filling the content of the Foundation's sites, media sites, and the Foundation's sites in social networks.
Now we have bought and registered new domen .

The main thing is the material and financial provision of work for student's tutoring and internships.

We were providing aid and pay for support of the newspaper "Ukrainian Youth", which is the main means of media of the Charitable Foundation "Democratic Society" in which tutoring and training of students is providing.
Payment of rent, telephone, Internet, transport, electricity, firewood for heating the office, rooms for the employees of the foundation, medicine for the treatment of employees and those who need it.
Now, during the war, our organization and our Foundation has suffered. The office of our foundation was attacked by a Russian airplane fighter with missiles, which caused significant damages and funds were required to repair it. We had to rent an office, repair it, buy tools, construction materials, paint, hire construction specialists and pay them for work, as well as pay a lot of money for renting office space.

Provision of the office with stationery and other supplies, gadgets for work, other equipment, provision of printing materials, printing of certificates on student internships, renovation of editorial office of newspaper "Ukrainian Youth".
Payment for food, representative expenses, working trips. Provision of information and advertising services for finding students who need internship.

In our work we hope for help of donors.
Without the help of donors, we will not be able to carry out our statutory functions.
That's why in our work our charity organisation rely on the donations of those, who care.
Donations are needed to help students, to pay tutors, journalists for their educational work with students.
