Providing Scholarships to Children in Cambodia

Summary

In Kampong Cham, school days provided by the government typically last half the day. To recieve a full education students need to pay and attend an internatioanl school. We want to make sure that all of our students receive a full day of education by sponsoring students to attend afternoon drop in centres/ international schools or public schools operating in the afternoon. For students not able to attend even half a day of school, we would like to sponsor them so they have access to an education

Challenge

Without an education students are unable to improve their socio-economical background and reach a higher income.

Solution

Sponsoring our students means that everyone in Kampong Cham has access to education and class hierarchies are not created whereby the middle class are educated and those in more rural areas of Kampong Cham are not

Long-Term Impact

Long term this can allow the development of individuals across Kampong Cham.
