Since the inception of the COVID-19 pandemic, your donations have been supporting families that continue to struggle to survive in the aftermath of over two years of lockdowns and consequent job losses.

Donations to this program during the past two years have made it possible for SevaChild to provide over 20,000 Indian families with one month's worth of food rations -- enough for a family of four or five individuals.

Each of the ration kits supplied by SevaChild includes basic staples (rice; pulses; sugar; tea) as well as other necessities such as personal hygiene items.

Since we last reported to you, SevaChild has distributed another 1,500 food ration kits, as it continues to identify those communities most in need and distribute these life-saving provisions accordingly throughout the poorest regions of the sub-Indian continent.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, your contributions have provided families in many of India’s most impoverished slums and rural villages with food essential for their survival.

In 2021, over 43,000 men, women, and children received an entire month's worth of nutritious food because of your donations. And thanks to your donations towards food for families hit hard by the pandemic, lockdowns, and subsequent loss of jobs this year, another 1400 families (7,000 men, women, and children) received a month’s worth of the food necessary for their sustenance.

Loss of employment and the means to earn enough money for life's most basic necessities continues to be an issue for the millions of families living in India’s remote rural villages and urban slums. That’s why we encourage you to donate again to provide desperately-needed food for these underserved communities.

For every $25 you give, a family of four or five will receive healthy food that will spare them from gnawing hunger for a whole month.

To make either a one-time or a recurring donation in the amount of your choice, please click on the orange 'GIVE NOW' button. We deeply appreciate your support.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, your contributions have continued to provide families in many of India’s most impoverished slums and rural villages with food essential for their survival. Families of four to five are receiving a month’s worth of food for every $25 you give (up from $20 last year due to inflation.) In 2021, donations to SevaChild made possible the acquisition and distribution of a whole month’s worth of food to over 10,800 families.  Over 43,000 men, women, and children were spared the pangs of hunger because of donations to SevaChild.

On behalf of all those families, we thank those of you who have given to this program and, since Indian fmilies are still reeling from the lockdowns and loss of employment, we would encourage you to give again.

Since our last report in August, your donation and those of others' have funded 8,000 one-month food packages for another 8,000 families who would have otherwise gone hungry. And there are still countless Indian families whose lives have been turned upside-down due to the pandemic needing our support.

The cost of providing an entire month's worth of food for a family of five had been $20.00; during the past three months, inflation has escalated the cost of food items by 25%, increasing this cost to a still-remarkably-low $25.00 per family of five for a full month. Think of the difference your $25.00 per month can make to a hungry Indian family unsure of where its next meal is coming from.

Please help us reach our goal of another 25 monthly donors before the end of the year. You can click on the orange 'GIVE NOW' button below to make a one-time donation, or to start your monthly contribution in any amount most comfortable for you.

In behalf of the over 32,000 men, women, and children nourished by your generosity during the past three months, we send heartfelt thanks.

Gratefully yours,
