Introduction

Although India is one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, that is not the case for a large portion of the population who are struggling with high youth unemployment, poverty as well as lack of access to quality education. Working with existing NGO's & organisations on the ground, we aim to empower communities by providing relevant training in life-skill development, vocational training including in IT literacy, providing access to sports activities & an improved learning environment..

Report

Our programmes support, empower and increase employment opportunities for women, students, and marginalised people in India. We do this by promoting and supporting gender equality initiatives, improving dynamic learning and teaching environments, and providing support to local educational institutions so that they can provide better and more equal access to quality education and vocational training.

Thank you for your support

Introduction

Women, young people, rural students and those with special educational needs face various different challenges when it comes to accessing employment and vocational training that could lead to a sustainable livelihood in India.

Report

Placing our focus on training over funding, we can equip communities with the tools they need to create lasting change. Our programmes support, empower and increase employment opportunities for women, students, and marginalized people in India. We do this by promoting and supporting gender equality initiatives, improving dynamic learning and teaching environments, and providing support to local educational institutions so that they can provide better and more equal access to quality education and vocational training. A donation of $15 will send a child to school for one week.

One of our schools that we support in South India, Kerala currently has around 80 children all with disabilities or learning difficulties. 7 of our students are wheelchair bound and due to the overcrowded community they are unable to get much rehabilitation or support from the local doctors or hospitals.

With your donations to our project not only are we able to continue the school but over the last 6 months we have been funding a private physiotherapist to come to the school and work 1:1 with 7 children to get them out their chair and help stimulate their mind through movement.

Over the past 6 months we have seen these children improve rapidly in their own personal growth as well as their education. It is such an amazing thing to be apart of, we would love to one day employ our our school physio but now we are using $150 of your donated funds each month to have the team visit weekly.

I thank you on behalf of everyone at our school for your help.
