By placing rainwater tanks in schools and community groups that do not have access to clean and safe water; communities are able to maintain sustainable vegetable gardens which provide food to families in their community; and schools are prevented from potential closure due sanitary issues. 13 Schools (Fikizolo Primary, S. The project hopes to encourage the community to care about developing a healthy, stable community. Furthermore, rain water tanks will highlight the potential to reduce the demand on the limited South African municipal water supply.
