30 households with safe water!

Four months ago we called upon the GlobalGiving community to raise funds for water purifiers that would be distributed to families in rural Uganda. We are so proud to say that we have completed this project! Most families currently boil there water everytime they would like to drink it. There was one testimonial from a woman that said this;
"I have to buy a lot of charcoal everyday to be able to boil water. Boiling water is costly and takes time because you must wait for it to cool. Now I have a water purifier that will allow me to drink water at any time, without buying charcoal."
The water purifiers have changed the lives of these families and all thanks to the generous contributions from the GlobalGiving community. Thank you so much for allowing us to bring hope and ease to these people! Your donations are appreciated by everyone affected!

The power of clean water

Hey!
I hope you are doing fine, thank you so much for your continued support towards this amazing project that is creating a good living environment in the lives of our people. So far 80 households have accessed safe and clean water in the villages we work with.
Not only have the villages benefited but also the schools within the District, 2 primary schools also received 3 purifiers per school to enable pupils drink safe water during school hours.
"Am so much excited about this water purifier, we are nolonger going to keep on drinking unboiled water, most of the time my children could fall sick because of dirty water, they will drink clean water at home and at school"-Tracy, amother to four
When you support projects from Mountains of Hope, you support the entire community of Mpigi District in Uganda to have access to clean and safe water, quality education, nutrition and many more.

Clean and safe water

Hi,
You are doing a great job of giving towards this project, Mountains of Hope has in the past supported over 30 households with the same leaving majority of households without purifiers, with this particular project, over 100 households will be covered. In February 2016, Mountains of Hope will suppy 2 purifiers per primary school in rural schools in Uganda. We are optimistic that this project will eradicate wter related diseases in the rural areas, asa result, we have booked over 50 purifiers that will be supplied to more households in January, all this will happen if this project is fully funded, I want to use this festive season to raise $2000 to enable us reach this goal.
You can again consider donating to this project to enable us reach this goal, remember we started this together, you can also ask your friends and famly or workmates to donate to save a village, you can also start a fundraiser to help raise more funds to save a village.
We will celebrate together, we succeed, you succeed.
