The project will provide A water filtration system for Aparis village to solve chronic water shortages and contamination by repairing broken boreholes, building community-scale filtration units, or implementing layered slow sand filters to provide safe drinking water for all the affected residents
Aparis village faces chronic water scarcity and difficulties with broken or unimproved water sources like old boreholes and stagnant ponds, leading to unsafe drinking water and health risks. Eg. Many families, and household's seriously lack access to safe drinking water, and local sources frequently carry harmful pathogens, heavy metals, or high turbidity.
Filtration protects public health, replaces the costly and environmentally taxing practice of boiling water with firewood or charcoal, and reduces single-use plastic waste. Eg 1.Give A home water filtration system cleans the water you use for drinking, cooking, and bathing. 2. Give A large community-scale water filtration system processes raw water from rivers, boreholes, or reservoirs to supply safe drinking water to hundreds or thousands of people.
Repair old and broken local boreholes to restore primary groundwater access. Reduce water turbidity (muddiness) and remove harmful bacteria using multi-stage filtration. Improve overall community health by lowering rates of waterborne diseases
