Dear Valued Supporter,
Today, we want to show you what your generosity can look like in the life of one person.
Aaref was living with a serious heart condition caused by poor blood circulation. Without the medical intervention he needed, his health could continue to deteriorate.
He needed a heart stent — but for vulnerable families in Syria, specialized surgery can be far beyond what they can afford.
Because of your support, Aaref was able to receive the procedure he urgently needed.
Our medical team successfully performed the operation, and today, Aaref is recovering and looking forward to returning home to his family in better health.
This is the impact of your donation.
You helped turn fear into relief, illness into recovery, and an urgent medical need into a second chance.
From Aaref, his family, and all of us at SEMA, thank you for making essential surgical care possible for people who might otherwise have nowhere to turn.
But Aaref is not the only patient waiting.
Right now, vulnerable women, children, and elderly patients across Syria still need urgent surgeries and medical procedures they cannot afford on their own.
Please continue standing with them. Your next donation could help another patient receive the surgery that may save their life.
Thank you for turning your generosity into real medical care and real stories of recovery.
Together, we can give more patients the chance to heal, return to their families, and begin again.
