Four days ago, newborn Ghazi arrived at a SEMA-supported hospital in northern Syria in critical condition.
He was suffering from severe respiratory distress, and every breath was a struggle.
Our medical team moved immediately.
Ghazi was admitted to intensive care, placed under close monitoring, and given the treatment he urgently needed. The first hours were difficult, and his condition remained extremely fragile.
But he kept fighting.
Thanks to your support—and the tireless care of our doctors and nurses—Ghazi is now slowly regaining his strength and moving closer to returning home with his family.
Your generosity helped ensure that the incubator, medicine, oxygen, and medical team were there when his life depended on them.
For Ghazi’s family, this was not simply medical care.
It was the difference between fear and hope.
Between losing a child and watching him recover.
Thank you for helping make this possible.
Yet Ghazi is not the only newborn fighting for life. More babies continue to arrive in urgent need of intensive care, treatment, and protection.
