Dear Supporter,
Nine months of waiting ended with the birth of a beautiful baby girl.
But within moments, her mother’s tears of joy turned into tears of fear.
The newborn developed severe respiratory distress that placed her fragile life in immediate danger. She was urgently transferred to one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria, where our medical team acted without delay.
The baby was admitted to the intensive care unit and placed under close medical supervision. For several critical hours, doctors and nurses worked carefully to stabilize her breathing and protect her life.
Then, the moment everyone had been praying for finally came.
Her condition began to improve.
Today, this little girl is stable and waiting to leave the hospital in her mother’s arms. Soon, she will go home for the first time, where her family will finally choose the name they had been too afraid to give her.
