First we’d like to say a big THANK YOU for your generous contribution towards our project to provide STEM @ Home kits for 200 underserved girls in Nigeria.
We embarked on this project to provide free STEM @ Home kits for 200 girls in Nigeria with the aim of encouraging STEM enthusiasm and making learning more accessible to every girl regardless of background especially with the recent adaptation to remote learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
So far, we have been able to donate 140 kits to girls across Nigeria in different schools and organisations such as Government Junior Girls School Keffi, Government Senior College, Ikoyi, Tech For The Street Initiative, Gusau Institute, Kaduna, Ilupeju Junior Grammar school and Ilupeju Senior Grammar school.
This has been possible thanks to your donations both on and off the GlobalGiving platform, contributions from friends of Afro-Tech Girls and partnerships with other organisations. Through other platforms and campaigns, we have now achieved our goal for this version of the STEM at Home Kits and will be closing this project.
We will keep you informed about versions of the kits and future projects.
Your support remains invaluable to us and we remain ever grateful to you.
Thank you!
