In Ghana's Ashanti Region, 28,710 children with developmental disabilities, especially those with speech impairments, face alarming neglect and stigma. With inadequate access to essential speech therapy, their communication abilities deteriorate, crippling their educational and social prospects. Many families endure profound isolation, grappling with harmful cultural beliefs that label these children as cursed. This project will deliver critical speech therapy, empowering these vulnerable kids.
Affinity Access International will provide crucial speech therapy to 28,710 children with developmental disabilities in Ghana's Ashanti Region.
