MADE IN TANZANIA! How I wished to see this mark on every item found in our shops in Tanzania! Now, through the sponsorship of GlobalGiving, its partners, and its generous donors my young brothers and sisters are enjoying this opportunity.

These are Edith Gvora School Children living deep in the rural village in Tanzania making solar lanterns to be used in their community. I wished someone gave me this chance when I was at their age! As you can see in the attached photos and videos, students and little kids demonstrate their love for science and innovation. They learn far better by ACTION than through memorizing books.

Our gratitude: We are so grateful to be given a golden opportunity to be selected for an exclusive matching opportunity specifically for our renewable energy work and funded by Global Village Energy Partnership (GVEP) - a GlobalGiving partner. GVEP is focused on accelerating access to energy for communities that lack modern energy services.  The campaign ran from February 17, 2016 until March 7, 2016 in which ten organizations were competing for 50% top-up matching fund from a total of GBP 10,000 that was set aside. We hit number two position after a fierce fundraising competition in which we fundraised USD 7,800. With these funds we bought solar lanterns that we are now selling to children in rural Tanzania at a subsidized price. Please kindly expect exciting updates through our future reports.

WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR YOUR RELENTLESS SUPPORT - ALL THE TIME!
