Garv Foundation plans to provide digital learning in the 50 government schools across India. We can not ignore the value of smart learning at the school level. The project will empower the 4500 students with digital contents. The project will be empowered by specially trained teacher loaded with the Laptop, Projector and subject content.
While enrollment in government schools is high, quality of education not up to the level. Mathematics and Science subjects can be learnt effectively with live demonstration, Audio-visual aids. Lack of resources always remain a problematic in government schools in India. survey shows 52% students of class 8th are unable to do do simple division. 75% students of class 9th do not know the basics of Science. Pass percentage is going down, indirectly this makes the reason of school drop-out.
Garv Foundation will leverage the power of trained subject teachers in 50 government middle schools located in rural of Punjab in India. Every teacher will loaded with laptop, projector and digital contents of the subject syllabus. The students will learn Mathematics and Science subject with AV aids, 3D animation, Live streaming, and stories. The students will be taught as per the syllabus prescribed by the education board.
Garv Foundation believes in the equal chance of learning without classification in religion, caste, sex, income, community. Where the project will reduce the gap between government schools and private schools, it motivates the students to continue their study. The digital learning makes them psychological strong, they will take interest in these subjects and give better performance in final exams. In the long run other organisations will follow the project to make the digital India.
