Families across Ukraine continue to be forced from their homes because of shelling, drone attacks, damaged infrastructure, and unsafe living conditions. Many leave with only a few belongings and no clear idea of where they will stay next.
Through the Safe Shelter for Displaced Families in Ukraine project, Hope For Ukraine provides temporary housing and essential assistance to people who have been displaced by the war.
At the shelter, families can receive a safe place to sleep, meals, basic necessities, and support as they determine their next steps. This stability is especially important for parents traveling with children, older adults, and individuals who may need additional assistance after leaving their homes.
Displacement affects nearly every part of daily life. Families may arrive without clothing, important documents, medication, or other basic items. Having a secure place to stay gives them time to rest, address their immediate needs, and begin planning for the future.
Hope For Ukraine continues working to ensure that displaced families are welcomed with dignity and practical care during an extremely uncertain time. Each family’s circumstances are different, but every person deserves safety and the reassurance that they do not have to face displacement alone.
Thank you for supporting this project and helping provide a safe place for Ukrainian families forced from their homes.
