This project was aimed at providing shelter and other related supportive services such as counseling, legal aid, medical care and reintegration/resettlement to survivors of GBV and child abuse. The project also aimed to support 450 children and women in Kenya.
The Project would ensure that survivors accessing GBV services at the shelter would be able to recover from physical and emotional trauma as well a being able to live normal lives away from the abuser. The project would also sensitize the host community on response and prevention of GBV.
The project managed to raise $20 from the just concluded winter challange.
We did not raise the targeted amount, we have some lessons learnt, we are hoping to perform better in the next challange.
