We are planning to begin crowdfunding for this project in the GlobalGiving UK Winter 2016 Gateway to Crowdfunding Challenge that begins in November.
This project will provide shelter and other related supportive services such as counseling, legal aid, medical care and reintegration/resettlement to survivors of GBV and child abuse. The project aims to support 450 children and women in Kenya. Survivors accessing GBV services at the shelter will be able to recover from physical and emotional trauma as well a being able to live normal lives away from the abuser. The project will also sensitize the host community on response and prevention of GBV.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
If you donate to this project or have donated to this project, you can receive an email when this project posts a report. You can also subscribe for reports without donating.
