By Pooja | Communication Manager
lndian Association for the Blind (lAB) is a renowned non-profit organization based in South India. We work to provide good quality education, employment, training and rehabilitation facilities for visually challenged children and youths from rural areas. It was established in 1985 by visually challenged activist Late Mr. S.M.A.Jinnah and a group of like-minded visually challenged people. Till date, IAB has benefited more than 11200 youths.
For this Project we have raised totally $336through global giving. We are thankful for our donors, you are truly making a difference in people's lives, not only for the amazing things you've done to us for the celebration, for the philanthropic gesture Diwali is all about bringing light into our and others' lives. From your contribution we have been able to gift our visually challenged students with new clothes, fire crackers and sweets during the Diwali festival. Our students were really happy as it was a great opportunity for them to celebrate Diwali just like any other sighted person.
We look forward to raising more for this cause. As always, we, along with Global Giving, will do our best in reaching out to generous donors across the Globe and will strive to bring happiness on the face of each of our beneficiaries. For your generosity you can bring a difference to their life. You just give a thought to bring little happiness to these kids.
