I Feel my Whole World has Changed

By Bukenya Muusa | Project leader

Annet

“I lacked hope because everyone around me kept saying I’m a mare woman so I don’t matter’ attending VacNet training and getting our to start my business “I feel my whole world has changed I can support and contribute to my family,” Says Annet.

From the training, I learned that Obstacles can only delay us, but they cannot end our dreams unless we allow them. Now I'm determined to flee my family from poverty. I have opened my small business and I want to grow it we are very happy for the first time in my family, now my children will have a better future. Says Annet

Our investment in empowering women farmers has a variety of positive impacts across the different levels of social and economic structures enhancing women’s decision-making power and control over assets within and helping to raise productivity and food security.

To achieve this we need to support women with tools and resources that can transform them from subsistence farmers to agro-business investors.

I hope you find this partnership valuable and worthwhile. Please consider telling your friends and family about our project by sharing the link to our GlobalGiving project on social media, or just bring us up in conversation. We’d love to hear the story about why you’ve picked our project, and we think your friends would too.

Thank you
