It is clear: the economic and social toll of Covid-19 is being paid disproportionately by women and girls. We have to Learnt from the positive brought about by the pandemic we have a chance to recreate a more just world. Economic empowerment and embracing women's rights and gender equity is the ways to go

We are starting from where COVID-19 lockdown left us, - our business we’re affected but we are safe and healthy ready to walk again” women like Sara is safely and smartly rebuilding their businesses.

Sarah like many women in Omoro-Uganda is not only doing business but providing solutions that are so needed, they saw locally made face masks to save lives but also make a living to support their families. That’s why we do this important work supporting women and their families who have proved resilient! Many have embarked on their journey again to restart their businesses and join marketplaces that recently opened after easing coronavirus restrictions.

We are providing microloans to enable women to restart their businesses, provide solutions, and possibilities a $50 microloan can help a woman to reopen her business and take care of her family it’s easy and safe. A small push with microloans in the range of $50-$100 can stabilize their businesses, build capital, and support their families. It’s the safest investment that is producing produce sustainable empowerment.

“I’m confident I will be able to take care of myself, educate my children and support my family despite the effects of Corona I will stand again because I have the skills and experience plus access to resources,” Sarah says

We need to support 200 women with microloans to support them to restart their businesses and continue to support their children and families, but we cannot do it without your generous donation.
