The kids Celebrating Teej festival

All the kids  living at Child Welfare home Khandbari  are fine. They have been   going to school and progressing in their studies.  The kids took their first terminal examination last   They have been waiting for their results.

The kids spent  a great time  during this October, the kids  celebrated Teej festival having meat and beaten rice and soft drinks at the orphanage. Their caretaker mother cooked and served  chicken to  all the kids.

They also celebrated Dashain,   their greatest festival, having meat and beaten  rice and also having Tika  and Jamara from their caretaker mother and  from  guest Michael from the USA.  After celebrating the Dashain,  Rabin, Sundar, Sammer and Santosh went to visit Sundar and Sammar birth place in  Yaphu. with Michael. It was a  very great time for Sammar and Sundar. Sundar met  his  grandfather and also his  aunt there and also visited  the place where he was born. Simmer met his aunt and   all his relatives in the village too.

The villagers were  very much pleased to see the kids after a long time. They also extended  lots  of thanks and gratitude to us for our support to  them.

On  the auspicious occasion of Dashain festival we would like to extend our heartiest greetings  best wishes to  all our donoars and sponsors.

Sincerely

Tejanath Pokharel
