Dear friends
We have very good news to share with you today. During the last three months a lot of changes have taken place at Child Welfare Home Khandbari.
We have been able to fix the water pipe manage clean drinking water for the organization. Since then the kids do not have go far to bring drinking water for them. Khandbari Municipality supplies water in alternate days in Khandbari area. When the water is coming, they fill two water tank (600 liter water) and store it for the next day.
We have been able to buy enough mosquito nets, mattress, bed sheets, pillows for the children and their caretaker mother. So their old torn mattress have been changed. Since then they have been enjoying sleeping on the new comfortable bed using a mosquito nets.
Their old, torn school dress have been changed. They have received shoes shocks, saddles and everything.
We have also managed a set of desk top computer for the kids. All the children have been learning to use it turn by turn.
Their care taker mother has got an extra cylinder for the kitchen. When one gas cylinder is finished she can change the another one immediately and cook food for the kids easily.
The bigger children Kopila and Rabin have transferred from Surya Boarding School to Himalaya Higher Secondary School, Khandbari. They have been studying in grade 8 and progressing very well. They also help their mother in cooking and cleaning in their leisure time.
Little children Pujan and Santosh are growing. They are happy to find a loving and caring mother Dhana Maya. They have passed the exam.Now they have been studying in upper KG at Makau Boarding School Khandbari.
However we need more help. We will have to raise more money to feed the children. Coming June 12 is the Partner Rewards Bonus Day of GlobalGiving Organization. On the special occasion we will have to try our best to raise some more fund.
