Season's Greetings AAHC supporter,
Thanks to your continued support of the AMOR/Aschiana Health Clinic for Street Children 2014 has been a very successful year for a variety of reasons.
Building trust within the community is an essential component to the success of any project, and AAHC is no exception. This year the two female Family Practise physicians that work at the clinic daily have been visiting both the Inter-displacement camps and apartment complexes surrounding the clinic and talking to mothers and fathers about the variety of services available.
Some patients come for the free vaccines or the high quality medication available in the pharmacy. Others visit to take advantage of the antenatal care services and ultrasound. The full service lab that is now operating at the clinic provides blood testing services that broadens the diagnostic capabilities of the clinic and enhances the quality of care that is provided.
I am very pleased with the progress the clinic has made in 2014. I am looking forward to 2015 and the new challenges and opportunities it will bring. We are looking forward to continuing to provide basic healthcare services and education to this community. Thank you again for your support of AMOR's projects in Afghanistan and helping us to have a positive impact in hundreds of children's lives.
Best wishes for a blessed and prosperous New Year!
