Six years ago, Chitsna was a village girl who worked on the river to do fishing along with her family members. Le Tonlé gave her the opportunity to work in hospitality by selecting her as one of our hospitality trainees.
After one year with the training center, Chitna was selected to be a housekeeper/trainer for Le Tonle Training Guesthouse in Stung Treng. After two years working with Le Tonle, Chitsna went to Siem Reap to participate in a one year training programme in cookery with the Ecole d'Hôtellerie et Tourisme Paul Dubrule. She came back to the center after she had successfully completed the course. She has brought new knowledge and skills to the center and now keeps our training programme and social enterprise growing.
Today Chitsna is a Food and Beverage Trainer who is responsible for training 42 young disadvantaged youth this entire year. Chitsna is also a trainer and assessor in the F&B division under the national and ASEAN Qualification Framework. On top of this, she is the acting F&B manager of Le Tonle Training Restaurant.
We are proud seeing our trainees growing and developping while being a leading examples for the new trainees.
