This is my employment, if it requires me to spend the whole night guarding the computer lab from thieves, I will do. Said Richard. This was Richard's comment when the UYSTO management thought of employing the second security personal to help in providing security to the center.

When Global giving gave us an opportunity to write this project, we thought it would strengthen the career guidance and accessing the youths with outside job opportunities. At the back of our mind, we need did not know that it was also Richard's opportunity of creating his employment and accessing services to people of all ages with very important services. When the management called Richard to share with him about how the projects helps him to earn and why he wants to contribute to the security, he said that, "ladies and gentlemen, provide internet and make the world small project, is my secrete source of income"

It’s recently when we resolved to employ another security personnel that we came to know that Richard has a strong attachment with the computer laboratory. Only to find out and interact with him, Richard surprised us when we heard from him saying that he earns over 375,000/ ($102)weekly, people have been looking for Richard at least 2 of them every day. Richard revealed to us that he has been charging 25000/ ($6.8

)  per person to create them Tax Identification numbers (TIN). In Uganda it’s a mandatory that everyone must poses a TIN. Richards has used this opportunity to create his own employment.

Alongside Richard's benefits from the project, our general youths have benefited also, most of them have created facebook profiles, linkedin profiles and have formed idea sharing whatsapp groups. Our WIFI has rely connected many youths worldwide.

We are also planning to install internet booster to increase the WIFI signal for other users. Hoping that we can reach at least 150 users. Currently our WIFI serves over 70 people at the center and other surrounding premises.
