Project Report | Sep 15, 2026
Growing, Learning, and Building the Future

By MONICA SANCHEZ C | CEO

At Club de Niños y Niñas de Nuevo León, A.B.P., we work to provide children and adolescents with safe and supportive spaces where they can develop skills and abilities that contribute to their well-being, learning, and overall development.

Through our programs, we seek to complement their formal education by creating opportunities to strengthen academic, social-emotional, and personal skills that help them become more autonomous and confident and make informed decisions.

During the period from January to August 2026, we monitored several indicators related to participants’ well-being and experiences at the Club, as well as the development of learning habits, self-esteem, life planning, and emotional intelligence.

The results allow us to identify important progress while also highlighting areas where we will continue working to improve the experiences and development of the children and adolescents we serve.

Well-being, Inclusion, and Safety

One of the fundamental aspects of the Club’s model is to create spaces where children and adolescents feel safe, respected, accepted, and part of a community.

The results show important strengths. 87% of participants reported feeling that they belong at the Club and agree with its rules, while 83% said they feel accepted and recognized. In addition, 84% reported that their teachers always or almost always treat them with respect.

The results also identified areas that require continued attention. 72% reported that they always or almost always feel safe and unafraid at the Club, while 73% said that their peers always or almost always treat them with respect.

These findings are valuable because they allow the Club not only to recognize the progress achieved but also to identify areas where strategies for positive relationships, respect, and protective environments need to be strengthened.

An Experience That Fosters a Sense of Belonging

Participant satisfaction and their desire to remain involved with the Club represent another important result during this reporting period.

93% of participants expressed their desire to continue participating in Club activities, exceeding the established target of 85%. In addition, 76% reported that they have invited other children or adolescents to join the Club.

These results reflect a positive assessment of their experience and show that the Club’s activities and spaces encourage continued participation and a strong connection with the organization.

Strengthening Learning Skills

The Club complements formal education through activities designed to strengthen the skills children and adolescents need to actively participate in their own learning processes.

During the reporting period, 80% of participants strengthened learning habits acquired at school related to organization, autonomy, concentration, and motivation to learn, meeting the established target for this indicator.

This result demonstrates the importance of continuing to provide complementary educational experiences that help participants develop tools they can apply both at the Club and throughout their educational journey.

Confidence, Self-Esteem, and Building the Future

Another expected result was to strengthen children’s and adolescents’ confidence in their own abilities.

80% of participants achieved the expected result related to increased self-confidence, strengthened self-esteem, and the development of a life plan based on universal values, meeting the established target for the reporting period.

Within the Club’s model, these elements are important in helping children and adolescents recognize their abilities, establish goals, and progressively participate in decisions related to their development and future.

Emotional Intelligence and Decision-Making

Overall development also involves learning to recognize and manage emotions, build positive relationships with others, and make appropriate decisions.

For this indicator, 80% of children and adolescents achieved the expected result related to the development of emotional intelligence, appropriate decision-making, and greater well-being in their environment, meeting the established target.

This result reinforces the importance of continuing to develop social-emotional skills as part of the comprehensive education provided to Club participants.

Results That Guide Our Work

The results from January to August 2026 show meaningful progress. The established targets were achieved for indicators related to learning habits, confidence and self-esteem, and emotional intelligence, while the satisfaction indicator showed that 93% of participants want to continue attending the Club.

At the same time, the assessment identified areas that require further attention, particularly those related to perceptions of safety and respectful relationships among peers. These findings provide valuable information to guide improvement efforts and continue strengthening the quality of the Club’s programs and spaces.

Beyond the numbers, our goal is for every child and adolescent to find at the Club a place where they can learn, develop their abilities, feel part of a community, and gain more tools to build their own future.

The Support of GlobalGiving

The support of GlobalGiving and the people who contribute to our project helps us sustain the programs and spaces that make these results possible.

Every contribution enables us to continue creating learning and development opportunities for children and adolescents in Nuevo León. At the same time, it helps us strengthen our monitoring and evaluation processes so that we can better understand the changes achieved and identify where we need to continue improving.

Thank you for being part of a community that believes in the potential of children and adolescents and in their ability to build their own future.
