School was built in 1970 and has 840 students. School was partially refurbished in last ten years but it still needs additional investments. Main problem are the ten classrooms that are in very bad shape and don't provide good learning conditions. Thanks to support of donors from USA, 44.000$ were collected for this purpose, but additional 6.000$ is needed so all the classrooms could be redone. Plan is to renovate classrooms and create clean and healthy space for students and professors.
School staff was able to participate on several programs funded by Ministry of Education and international organizations so they have provided with basic infrastructure works (roof, restrooms) and specific tools needed for practical work. We need to provide support for the school so students could concentrate on education and practical work in the classrooms which are in very bad shape at the moment. Your support will provide modern and clean facilities for kids in Southern Serbia.
Graduates from Technical school are very successful in employability or entering public universities. This school has fantastic record from results of their students during the high school education, afterwards students have good careers and make great example of usage of practical education including Roma population with lowest drop out within high school system in Serbia. Helping this school, you will help many future generations and provide to all of them with good learning conditions.
